Looking for a birthday or Christmas gift for someone who loves candles? Choose something that feels personal, from their favourite fragrance to a decorative design that suits their home. Natural Light Candle Company's handcrafted scented candles and unscented reusable lanterns offer different ways to give the pleasure of candlelight. The lanterns can be used with a scented tealight of the recipient's choice, if they wish.

Birthday gifts chosen just for them

Make their birthday gift about the details they love. For someone drawn to floral patterns, explore Cherry Blossom or Damask Leaf. Cherry Blossom candles in White & Blush Pink feature Sweet Pea & Peony, while Damask Leaf candles in Ivory & White feature Peony & Sweet Pea. Damask Leaf's Indigo Blue & White and Black & White candles pair their design with Rosehip & Patchouli.

If their style is understated, consider Twine candles. The carved, roll-of-twine-inspired design combines a whitewashed ivory finish with Amber & Ginger Rose fragrance. Choose from a 3-inch recessed pillar, a 4.5-inch pillar or a 6-inch pillar to suit their space.

Christmas gifts for candle lovers

A thoughtfully selected candle makes a lovely Christmas gift for a friend, family member or host. Rather than choosing by occasion alone, start with the colours and fragrances they enjoy throughout the year. Our Palm Leaf candles offer Wild Fig & Pomegranate in Ivory & White, Lemon Vanilla in Bayberry Green and Sandalwood in Charcoal. Bayberry Green is the colour name, not the fragrance.

Check current availability and delivery information before ordering for Christmas or a birthday deadline. Product styles and sizes vary by collection, so compare the individual options before making your choice.

When you are unsure which fragrance to choose

An unscented reusable lantern is a thoughtful alternative to a scented pillar candle and can be used with a scented tealight of the recipient's choice, if they wish. Browse Damask Leaf, Cherry Blossom and Chrysanthemum lanterns. These are tealight holders: the lantern is reused and only the tealight needs replacing. Your recipient can choose fragrance or enjoy candlelight without it.

A gift with decorative detail

Our candles use a blend of beeswax, coconut wax and refined paraffin, not soy wax. Choose a design that complements the recipient's home, and follow the care instructions supplied with every candle or lantern. Whether it is a birthday surprise or a Christmas thank-you, a considered choice makes the gift feel like theirs.
