Our artisan candles are crafted by hand in a purpose-built workshop committed to fairtrade practices in a village close to Sanur in Bali.
Talented artists begin the process by carving each unique pattern into wooden blocks using time honoured skills.
The wooden blocks are then used to fashion silicon moulds into which molten wax is poured to create the textured external wall of each beautiful candle.
A natural cotton wick is placed down the centre before the wax is levelled and left to set. Once firm, the carving on the outer wall is refined using a sharp tool ensuring every piece is a work of art.

Natural Light Candle Company brings together candles handcrafted in Bali, decorative patterns and thoughtful gifts for the home. Our candles use a blend of beeswax, coconut wax and refined paraffin. Explore recessed pillars, hurricane candles and selected larger pillar styles, with sizes depending on the design.
Choose a Cherry Blossom candle in White & Blush Pink with Sweet Pea & Peony fragrance, or White & Fuchsia with Vetiver, Lavender, Marjoram, Bergamot and Sandalwood. Listed Cherry Blossom burn times are 40 hours for the 3-inch recessed pillar, 45 hours for the 4-inch hurricane and 80 hours for the 4-inch recessed pillar.
The Palm Leaf range pairs Ivory & White with Wild Fig & Pomegranate, Bayberry Green with Lemon Vanilla, and Charcoal with Sandalwood. Damask Leaf candles offer Peony & Sweet Pea or Rosehip & Patchouli according to colour, while Twine pillar candles feature Amber & Ginger Rose.
Prefer a reusable candle lantern? Our 14cm lanterns have patterned outer walls that glow around a tealight. The lantern itself is unscented; use a scented tealight if you would like fragrance, and replace only the tealight as needed. Always follow the care and safety instructions.
